Based in Toronto, ON, I’m a designer with a background in economics and a long-time love for art and visual storytelling.
How I got here
I first learned how to paint from my dad growing up. He would paint these big, beautiful Chinese dragons that I was always in awe of. As he got older he moved away from art, and that stuck with me. It made me realize I didn’t want to lose that creative part of myself.
What started as visual art naturally turned into UX design in my second year of university, when a friend introduced me to UX Laurier. I liked that it wasn’t just creative, it also made me think. It felt like the right balance between design and problem-solving.
Now, I try to carry that same mindset into my work— keeping things thoughtful, human, and a bit creative in everything I make.
When I’m not designing…
You’ll find me travelling, playing with Miso (my cat), trying out new food spots, or convincing myself I need another festival ticket.
